Gregory Yaw founded Zelo Solutions in 2017 to provide mid-market clients with senior level, independent business technology consulting to drive performance improvement. Greg has deep experience delivering technology assessments, strategic roadmaps, system selections, implementation project execution and M&A services across many industries – home services, pharma/life sciences, consumer products, automotive, and a diverse set of service industries.
Prior to starting Zelo in 2017, Greg spent over 9 years at American Capital as a VP of IT Due Diligence and Consulting where he led over 100 technology due diligence assessments and over 30 post-close technology initiatives to help drive portfolio company performance. He also built a strong track record leading 12 significant ERP implementations over a 9 year tenure with Deloitte Consulting. Greg began his career at Delphi Automotive in operations management after earning a BBA from the Haworth College of Business at WMU where he graduated magna cum laude. Greg lives in West Michigan with his wife and three daughters and enjoys spending time outside golfing, fishing and hiking with his family.
David Asher is an IT business leader with more than two decades of experience in technology management and private equity advisory services. His specific expertise includes operational & technology due diligence, Day One planning, post-merger integration and carve-out activities, digital transformation, CIO advisory, and portfolio company IT support services including directing enterprise system implementations and improving infrastructure governance and cyber security.
Most recently, David was a Practice Director at Accordion Partners where he led IT transaction services for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Before joining Accordion, he worked as the IT Transaction Advisory Practice Leader at ACA Aponix. During this time, the firm received the 2019 Due Diligence Firm of the Year award by the M&A Advisor, which highlighted the ACA’s ability to deliver impactful and actionable M&A technology and risk management services. Prior to joining ACA Aponix, he was a Director with Alvarez & Marsal in the Private Equity Services practice where he focused on IT due diligence and carve-out transactions. David has held additional senior roles as CIO, M&A Director and Director of Corporate Development early in his career. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Finance from Gonzaga University, and a MBA from the University of Washington. He is also a Certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA).
